2017 was a year of volatility astrologically, mirroring the tumult in the US with two eclipses in Leo that were the most visible ones the country experienced since 1979.  The opposition between Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries was divisive, polarizing and catalyzing.

Fire and air predominated elementally. The presence of air dynamically fanned the flames of cultural, political or actual fires to large proportions and blew them in new directions quickly, reflective of the atmospheric changeability!

The end of last year was marked by Jupiter’s ingress into Scorpio and Saturn’s ingress into Capricorn, which shifted the cosmic tide from air and fire to more earth and water. Uranus enters Taurus in May, adding more earth into the mix.

Two eclipses occur early in the year on January 31 and February 15. Three more happen in the summer on July 12, July 27 and August 11.

Will year of the Earth Dog in 2018 bring the opportunity to begin the planning stages for what needs to be restructured within our societal framework?

Hope to see you there . . .
